Prepare the School Halls for Social Distancing in Fall 2020

7/1/2020

As you prepare for a new school year, think about how your school can encourage practices that allow for a safe return to in-person schooling.

We have created templates for schools to be able to do just that!

Take a look below at just some of the ways you can use clear messaging and visual identification to implement fool-proof health screenings, social distancing, and adequate sanitizing among your students and staff for the 2020 school year.

Sanitizing Stations

Establish multiple sanitizing stations throughout the school, especially in high-traffic areas. These can be set up at entrances to buildings, dining halls, and in recreational areas. Clearly post reminders to wash hands thoroughly before attending their next class.

Wristbands

Assign wristbands after students and staff pass daily health screenings. Visual identification is the easiest way to ensure everyone has been screened daily.

Posters & Flyers

Display clear reminders to practice social distancing and adhere to school regulations in hallways, classrooms, lockers rooms and common areas.

Postcard Mailers

Update parents before the school year begins with direct mailers.

We make sending out postcards a cinch! Just upload a list of addresses and we’ll print and mail them for you!

Other possible solutions to promote healthy practices in schools could include using floor stickers to show students and staff where to stand to allow for adequate space between their peers (such as in the library or in line in the dining hall), or hanging large format banners on the outside of the building to remind incoming students and staff of new health policies.
